Three Things You Can Do to Help
# 1 DONATE
# 2 VOLUNTEER
# 3 VOTE
Dear Fellow Citizen:
As you know, I am seeking to with the office of city council member for the City of Lacey.
I have been out on the campaign trail listening to what is important to our residents and I have
learned a lot in just a few short months. I have a great deal more work to do yet, but as you
know, the general election is near and you will be receiving your ballot in the mail soon.
Before you mark that ballot, I would like to tell you a little bit about some of my goals if
elected. My primary goal is to fight to make private sector job creation easier and to remove
barriers to job growth. We also need to ensure a vigorous philosophical debate before our city
government oversteps its mission of providing public safety and adequate infrastructure. In
addition, we need to bring common sense to our local environmental policy making and proceed
carefully with the future development of our community by selecting only the best for our city.
While doing all of this, we cannot lose sight of why we have elected leaders. We are here
to serve the people, not ourselves. You have my commitment to support programs for our senior
citizens, as well as our children and businesses.
If you elect me as your city council member, I know what my job will be. My goals are to
provide as much service and support to all the residents in our community. I want to make
Lacey a city that people want to live, work, and play in. I want Lacey to be a community that
has a reputation of serving its residents better than any other city. I have a vision for our
community – a government for the people. I see a government serving its residents. Be a part of
my vision and help plan a positive future for our community by marking Raymond “Ray”
Payne for Lacey City Council Position 4 on your ballot.
Thank you for your support!
Raymond “Ray” Payne
Candidate for Lacey City Council, Position 4
