If you serve EU clients: Even if you're in North America, if your clients are in the EU, you have obligations around their data. Don't paste client information into AI tools without explicit agreements in place.

If you're in North America: This is coming your way. Canada has PIPEDA. Various US states have emerging privacy laws. The regulatory direction is clear.
